Keep the facilities ready when the crew arrives
For a new build, renovation, utility project, or public-works site in Sumter, start with peak workers on each shift and the expected project length. Include subcontractors and tell us whether usable permanent facilities are available. A toilet placed at one end of a large site may not serve another work area conveniently.
Our construction options include standard job-site units, sink-equipped units, accessible models, and high-rise configurations. Handwashing needs should be discussed separately from the toilet count.
What OSHA actually says
OSHA’s construction sanitation standard, 29 CFR 1926.51(c)(1), sets minimum facilities in Table D-1. It counts toilet seats and urinals, not simply any portable enclosure.

The printed categories overlap at 20 and 200. Confirm the applicable interpretation and your site’s full requirements with the responsible safety professional. Staffing, facility configuration, washing requirements, and sanitary condition all matter.

A service plan that reflects actual use
Ask for the first service date and recurring schedule in writing. A small crew and multiple shifts can create very different cleaning and supply demands. Discuss pumping, cleaning, deodorizing, toilet paper, sanitizer where provided, and any additional visit charges. Report a missed service or unusable unit promptly.
Keep the service route open
Before delivery, identify a firm, level area away from excavation edges and active vehicle paths. Provide gate instructions and tell us about overhead wires. Check that deliveries of lumber, equipment, or materials will not block future pump-out access. A workable first-day position must also work during the rest of the project.
Understand the recurring bill
Confirm whether your quote uses a 28-day cycle, a calendar month, or another period. A four-week rate does not mean a calendar month. Review renewal, payment, extra servicing, and pickup charges before authorizing the rental. For an open-ended job, arrange collection when the crew finishes.
