The manufacturer lists a 32.75-inch door-frame opening, 60-inch interior turning circle, and 33-inch grab-bar height. These are model specifications, not a confirmation of your entire site’s accessibility. Plan the approach, maneuvering space, threshold, and nearby handwashing as well.

Keep the restroom connected to the guest route
Describe the path from arrival and activity areas to the proposed placement. Loose gravel, grass, steps, steep changes and narrow passages can prevent a suitable unit from being usable. Include the route to handwashing as well.

The PolyJohn Comfort XL is a roomier wheelchair-accessible option. Its published dimensions are 62 × 62 × 91 inches with a 33-gallon static tank and a 32-inch door-frame width. Do not assume that this model has the same compliant turning space as the We’ll Care III.

Satellite Industries’ Freedom is another ADA configuration offered in our equipment list. The manufacturer specifies 66 × 86.5 × 90.5 inches, a 32.7-inch-wide door opening, and a 35-gallon tank for the ADA configuration. Its 68-gallon configuration is identified as non-ADA.

Accessible placement matters as much as the model
For portable single-user units covered by the ADA Standards, accessible units are required at each cluster. A practical whole-number example: a group of 20 requires at least 1 accessible unit; a group of 21 requires at least 2. Do not place all accessible restrooms in a distant cluster. Construction-only facilities have a specific exemption; confirm which rules apply to your use.
The standards allow a 60-inch-diameter turning circle or a compliant T-turn in applicable toilet rooms. A 60-inch radius is not the requirement. Clearances, fixtures, and routes must work together.
